MAXIMISING SUPERBRAND STATUS 

In order to achieve the most from your association with Superbrands, it is suggested that the Superbrands Award Seal be used in a variety of different ways that complement your brand: 

· The Superbrands Seal may be incorporated into all printed material such as your annual report and other marketing material. A few lines explaining the significance of Superbrands status should be included where appropriate. 

· The Superbrands Seal may be placed on all printed advertisements and notices. 

· All staff should be informed regarding the significance of Superbrand status. From an internal perspective, Superbrand status will help build pride amongst employees. This is also an important message to be communicated to prospective and existing stakeholders. 

· Your Superbrand status is an important message to be communicated to the media. Various stories may be pitched to the appropriate media targeting your audience.

· The Superbrands seal can be placed on your website, along with a few lines explaining its significance.

A hyperlink to your website from the Superbrands page will also be arranged.   

 

SUPERBRANDS AWARDS SEAL USAGE GUIDELINES 

1) LICENCE: Only brands that have current participating contracts with Superbrands Australia may use the Superbrands Award Seal. The Seal may be used in advertisements, promotional material, packaging etc. If there is more than one brand in the advertisement/presentation/etc., the words "Awarded to Brand X", where "Brand X" is the name of the Superbrand, must appear below the logo, set in Arial or Helvetica typeface. 

2) TERRITORY: This Superbrands Award Seal is for use on advertising materials for distribution within Australia only. 

3) COLOURS: The Superbrands Award Seal should, if possible, appear in Gold. If Gold clashes with other colours in the presentation, the Red Seal may be used as an alternative. A Black & White version may also be used. The Seal must not appear in any other colour. 

4) MINIMUM SIZE: The Superbrands Award Seal must not be reproduced smaller than 30mm in diameter. 

5) MINIMUM SPACE: Ensure that the Superbrands Award Seal has enough clear area around it. There must be a minimum space around the logo, measured by the cap S-height (the height of the letter "S" in "Superbrands").

6) TRADEMARK NOTICE: The words "Superbrands is a registered trademark." must appear whenever the Superbrands Award Seal is used. 

7) REPRODUCTION: The Superbrands Award Seal is supplied as a digital file on CD-ROM. Do not reproduce the Seal from any other source or material. 

8) OTHER: Superbrands Australia reserves the right to change any of these terms and conditions without prior notice. Use of the Superbrands Award Seal is subject to these terms and conditions.
